Meet Mike McQuillan

To be a speaking coach for fitness professionals, you need credentials in
speaking, coaching, and the fitness industry!

My fitness industry career began over 20 years ago when I wrapped up my tour in the Marines and started delivering and installing exercise equipment. I then moved up to retail sales while earning my first fitness trainer certification.

I moved on to the mentoring roles of personal trainer, group instructor, high
school wrestling coach, high school guidance counselor and instructor for
the ACE and ISSA certification courses.  I’ve certified 150 trainers in the field.

As a distance runner … eh … no need to brag.

As a public speaker, I started in Toastmasters at the same time I started in the
fitness industry.  I became president of the Greatland Toastmasters club in
Anchorage, AK, which earned select distinguished honors that year.

My full time profession is English as a foreign language teacher in Lima, Peru. Nobody in this group knows that I speak Spanish. iQue payaso ese profe Mike!
